CartAmplify, Inc. ("CartAmplify", "we", "us") provides AI-powered search and recommendation tools to online stores. This policy explains what personal data we handle, why, and what choices you have. If you have questions, write to privacy@cartamplify.com.
When you sign up for an account, we collect your name, email address, company name, and billing details. When shoppers interact with a store that uses CartAmplify, our service receives anonymous interaction data — things like products viewed, searches made, and items added to cart — tied to a randomly generated session identifier. We do not collect names, email addresses, or payment details of end shoppers.
Account data is used to provide and bill the service, to communicate with you about your account, and to provide support. Shopper interaction data is used to generate the search results and recommendations our customers pay us to deliver, and to improve the quality of those results over time.
We share data with a small number of service providers who help us run the business: a payment processor (for billing), a cloud hosting provider (where the service runs), and an email provider (for transactional and support email). These providers are bound by contract to use the data only to provide services to us. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
We keep account data for as long as your account is active, and for a short period after closure to handle billing, tax, and legal obligations. Shopper interaction data is retained only as long as needed to operate and improve the service, after which it is deleted or aggregated so individuals can no longer be identified.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to receive a copy. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@cartamplify.com from the address tied to your account. If you are an end shopper of a store using CartAmplify, please contact that store first — they are the controller of your data, and we act on their instructions.
Our marketing site uses a small number of cookies to remember your preferences and measure basic traffic. The CartAmplify service running on customer stores uses a session identifier so we can connect a sequence of interactions to the same shopper within a visit. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will let account holders know by email.
